Giants secured 2nd win of the season by defeating Chiba sharks by 167 runs. A fine weather conditions at Ageo promised to be a fair game without any weather advantage.

35 over's match was decided as ground was available from 12 noon. Giants opening batsman started cautiously against good opening spell. However the bowlers' hard work did not get any reward as they faced sluggish fielding at numerous occasions.. All batsmen got start (were dropped too) but could not capitalize on except Syed and Ahmad Kamal who scored fine 50+ to ensure Giants go past 200 mark. Big hitting into bushes made sure that scheduled timing for 1st innings will be difficult to achieve. Acknowledging this fact, Giants Captain DECLARED their innings when score was 247/8 in 30 overs.

Chiba Sharks openers started the chase strongly by making intent clear by scoring 25 runs in first 2 overs.. Marcus got out to a fine catch at gully and soon only wkts column started to add up, (rather than runs) .Mayank & Patrick did their best but again tight bowling and fielding made sure that runs were hard to come by. Finally Sharks team was bundled out for a mere 80 runs.

Catches win matches. This match was yet another example of this. A run-chase that promised to be a thrilling match could not live up to its expectaion and turned out be a one sided affair. Kamal for his all round performance in all department deserved a MVP on the given day.

Both teams did show great sportsmanship and proved to be a good day for game of cricket.
